Yaw U — Frequently Asked Questions

In-stock units usually ship within 5 business days from our warehouse in the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and you'll get a tracking number when it ships. Transit time depends on your destination and the carrier, and customs checks or remote areas can add time.

Yaw U (Standard, Business and Bundle) and Pimax Crystal Super ship free, DDP to most countries. For other items, shipping is calculated at checkout, and the final total is always shown before you pay. Yaw U ships as a single pre-assembled box, and a signature is required on delivery (no P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses).

For most destinations, no. We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), which means ShallxR pays the import duties and taxes and there's nothing extra to pay at delivery. A few countries aren't covered by DDP, and there the recipient pays local duties and VAT/GST to customs. Email hello@shallxr.com with your country before ordering and we'll confirm whether DDP applies to you. If you've already ordered and your destination isn't covered, we'll let you know before your order ships.

Check the packaging before you sign, and write "Package damaged" when signing if the box is visibly damaged. Email hello@shallxr.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the unit, and we'll arrange replacement parts or a repair. Shipments are insured.

You can return an unopened Yaw U, in its original packaging with seals intact, within 14 days of delivery. A 15% restocking fee applies ($840 on the $5,600 Standard edition), the original shipping cost is not refunded, and you arrange insured return freight to the address we provide. Units that have been opened, assembled or used can't be returned unless they're defective. Email hello@shallxr.com to start a return. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Yaw U comes with a 1-Year Warranty against manufacturing defects. It includes free remote troubleshooting and free replacement of defective parts, with no shipping cost to you for warranty parts. To make a claim, email hello@shallxr.com with your order number and photos or a video of the issue.

Yes. Orders cancelled before dispatch are refunded minus a 3% processing fee. Once an order has shipped, the return policy above applies.

The Yaw U 3DoF full-motion base (factory pre-assembled), an adjustable gaming frame with foot holder (fits any flat-bottomed gaming chair), a 220V power supply, 4× wireless USB slots (VirtualHere), a hardware safety kill switch, a GameLink v2.75 software license, and a 1-Year Warranty with free remote support and free replacement parts.

The motion base arrives pre-assembled. You attach the gaming frame, connect the cables and place it, which takes about 30–60 minutes, and no engineering experience is needed. GameLink auto-detects Yaw U and installs the DCS World plugin for you. Allow at least 1.5 m × 1.5 m of floor space (2.0 m diameter recommended). Maximum user load is 130 kg / 290 lbs.

Yes. Yaw U runs on 220V. For 110–120V regions such as the USA, Canada and Japan, we include a free, high-quality step-up transformer (110V to 220V) with your order.
