Refund policy

1. Overview

At Shallxr, we manufacture high-precision motion simulation technology. Because the Yaw VR Ultimate and related SKUs are high-value, heavy-weight, and often built-to-order, our return and refund policies differ from standard consumer electronics. By completing a purchase on shallxr.com, you agree to the terms below.

2. 14-Day Return Window

We offer a 14-day return period starting from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be in the same condition that you received it.

  • It must be in its original, unopened packaging with all seals intact.

  • You must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

Non-returnable items: Any units that have been fully assembled, mounted, or shows signs of use cannot be returned due to safety and calibration standards.

3. Change of Mind & Restocking Fees

If you wish to return an item for reasons other than a confirmed manufacturing defect (e.g., "change of mind" or "buyer's remorse"):

  • Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee (approximately $750 for the Ultimate Edition) will be deducted from your refund.

  • Shipping Costs: The original shipping cost is non-refundable. Furthermore, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for insured return freight to our warehouse in Hong Kong/Shanghai/Guangzhou.

4. Manufacturing Defects & Warranty

If the product is defective upon arrival:

  1. Contact support@shallxr.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos and video of the issue.

  2. If the defect is verified, we will provide replacement parts or a repair solution.

  3. If a full unit replacement is required due to a manufacturing fault, Shallxr will cover the associated shipping costs for the exchange.

5. Cancellations

  • Pre-dispatch: Orders canceled before they have been handed to the carrier are subject to a 3% processing fee (to cover non-refundable payment gateway charges).

  • Post-dispatch: If the item has already shipped, it is treated as a Return (see Section 3).

6. Customs Refusal

If a shipment is returned to us because the customer refused to pay local import duties, VAT, or GST, the refund will be processed minus:

  1. The original shipping cost.

  2. The return shipping cost.

  3. The 15% restocking fee.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that for Splitit or installment customers, your plan will be adjusted or closed by the provider once the refund is finalized.
